The Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the two companies formalises an existing relationship that was forged in May for a Virtual Summit with Accountex and Practice Ignition, which attracted over 15,000 registrations and generated £45,000 in donations for the NHS over two days.
The new MOU aims to offer members access to each organisation’s thought leadership, top level contacts and events, as well as connecting through a growing community of finance professionals.
“Generation CFO brings together the new world of digital and the new class of modern accounting and finance into one collaborative group,” says Claire Bennison, head of ACCA UK.
“In these challenging times and beyond, the opportunity to build our connections and community is all the more important, so we’re delighted to be working with them through this MOU and look forward to our future collaborations together.”
Chris Argent, founder of Generation CFO, adds: “In the coming months, we’ll be delivering a plan of activities to help us all to share insights and new ideas. We are also developing an award, so watch this space for more information about this project which will champion and recognise the exceptional work that finance professionals are doing at this time. We’re thrilled to be cementing our relationship with ACCA UK, connecting UK members with our community of 70,000 people. Both our memberships will benefit greatly.”
