Another intimate Generation CFO virtual meet-up where our FiMIND community get their burning questions answered, hold a rich exchange with their peers and learn from members of the community who are on the same digital journey.
The “un” meetup began by looking at the Generation CFO Q1 Research Report, the report is only possible by the collaboration of our senior finance community and our Head of Research, Mark Cracknell. In this paper, the hot focus on mental health, mental fitness in business and our return to work and the alarming impact the pandemic has had on the way we work and with one in five adults in the UK currently experiencing depressive symptoms, which has doubled on the previous year. mental health and the return to the office and what organisations have in place for staff welfare. The reality is, a shocking amount of companies have no policy in place for teams returning to work! You will find the full report in the Research Group on the FiMind Forum – Not yet a member? No worries, register here.
But the priority of the “un” meet up is to answer questions from the community, and the questions asked included: “what is the future of the finance organisation post-Covid?” to “What are the pros and cons of digital transformation and the ESG Integrated reporting?” we managed to answer and discuss four of the most important questions, but it was such an engaging conversation, it was worth focusing on a few main topics.
So, next time you are thinking of spending an hour learning or networking, why not book a seat for the next growth “un” meetup and have an engaging hour with your very own finance community!
