Louise Burke, MD, Open Data Institute (ODI)
Louise Burke will discuss the importance of data literacy at the summit. She combines her work as a finance consultant to a number of technology and media startup companies. Louise qualified as an accountant while working in practice and moved into business as a financial controller with Compass PLC. She then joined The Financial Training Group as divisional training director and Senior Management Accountant lecturer. Louise then became an examiner for a leading accountancy body for many years. After leaving the Financial Training Company, Louise worked as FD for a number of high-profile companies, such as Tornado Productions, Servecast, Setanta Sports and AMEE.
Woody Ruane, Finance Transformation Director, John Lewis Partnership
Woody will discuss the importance of having a growth mindset. Over the last 10 years, he has devised and driven the transformation of the John Lewis Partnership Finance function. It has gone from an ‘accounts dept’ into a high performing, prize winning and world class function. “By building and developing high performance teams and role modelling a mindset of continuous improvement, I build sustainable finance capability that supports business strategy and performance.”
Hayley Martin, head of reward, Costa Coffee
Hayley has a unique view on skills and talent and will be discussing the changing role of the CFO. “Leading the development and implementation of Costa’s global reward strategy, I partner with our local leadership teams to enhance the experience of our team members and align them all with the success of Costa and delivery of our ambitious growth plans.”
Andy Codd, senior consultant, Dell
Andy will be discussing business partnering in depth at GenerationCFO LIVE. He set up the #SITN (Strength in the Numbers) podcast to share finance and accounting stories. Simone has been in both regional and corporate FP&A roles in telecoms, technology and insurance industries. She supported partners in financial planning and analysis and business partnering. Originally from Macau in SE Asia, she is a Fellow of ACCA, a certified FP&A and has an MBA from Manchester Business School.

She has led and implemented award-winning cultural transformation programmes in multiple industries. She has more than 25 years of corporate experience with global brands in multiple countries. These include KPMG, Investec Bank, BMW and Ford Credit Bank Europe Plc. Talita published her first book, The Authenticity Dilemma Resolved® in 2016.
