Our awards will help celebrate the finance teams in industry that are using digital technology to help improve their business and their own careers. The world is going through fundamental change, and CFOS and finance functions are leading this change with interesting and incredible uses of digital technology and we want to reward and recognise that.

It’s an opportunity to stand out from the crowd and highlight yourself as a member of the profession that is helping to lead change and innovation. It’s also a fantastic opportunity to meet other leading Digital Finance Functions and learn how they do things in their teams.

Winners will be announced on the 24th February at the Generation CFO Live Summit and will be published in The Shift section of GenerationCFO.com. Winners will receive an award and innovator membership of our GenerationCFO FiMind community.

For individuals who have learnt new skills relating to the digital finance function model (strategy, talent, change, collaboration, implementation)
For example, you may have learnt new skills in data analytics, our automation, and shared them with your peers. |
Improver of the Year |
For team members who have led and improved their role or the team’s output using skills relating to the digital finance function model
For example, you may have learnt new skills in technology, automation, modelling and applied your knowledge to improve efficiency and effectiveness in your role. |
Transformer of the Year |
For senior leaders who have led and improved their role or the team’s output using skills relating to the digital finance function model

Submit your application by 5th February 2021
Applications for the awards opened in January 2021 and will close 5th February 2021, extended from 29th January. We will then shortlist application with our advisory board and judges in February and announce the industry winners on the 24th February at the Generation CFO Live Summit. The application process will be designed to be easy to use and not too time-consuming covering 4 areas; the situation the initiative; the task that needed to be done, what action was actually taken, and the result and impact on the business. Each application will be validated with the senior leader who sponsored the initiative (see application form).
