Transforming an organisation is not always easy. However, one thing that consistently eases the process is having the right culture.

I think many would agree that culture is king in finance transformation – it can really be make or break for enacting change.

This concept is the topic of episode three, Importance of transformative culture, from the podcast series Transformational journeys.

The series was produced by the the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) in association with Generation CFO and Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (Chartered Accountants ANZ), and covers topics concerned with transformation and finance.

What’s in store?

The focus of this podcast episode, in the words of Clive Webb, presenter of this podcast and Head of Business Management at ACCA, is:

“The importance of having the right culture to deliver success.”

Clive speaks with Brendan Sheehan, CEO of White Squires, and Stephen Dowling of etm-unlearn. They discuss how to create a culture that facilitates the rapid changes we are seeing in the modern finance industry.

This topic was chosen as it expands on elements of the research report Transformational Journeys: Finance and the Agile Organisation.
