Why Tech CFOs Could Make Great CEOs

We are about to find out as Intel is now led by its former CFO Bob Swan, and IBM’s, former CFO Martin Schroeter and Jim Whitehouse, the CEO of software company Red Hat acquired by IBM in July, are said likely to succeed CEO Ginni Rometty next year.

So getting closer to the technology in your business, does seem to be a distinct advantage if you are planning on leading your company.
